Study in Canada Scholarships 2024

In October 2023, Global Affairs Canada introduced the Flight PS752 Commemorative Scholarship Program, honoring the memory of those who perished in the Ukraine International Airlines Flight 752 disaster on January 8, 2020. This tragedy claimed the lives of 176 people, including 55 Canadian citizens and 30 permanent residents, many of whom were esteemed students and contributors to Canadian educational institutions. To honor their legacies, 176 scholarships are being offered to both international and Canadian students enrolled in Canadian colleges and universities. Eligible applicants include those whose fields of study align with the victims’ academic and professional pursuits or focus on air disaster prevention.
