Middle America Scholarship

Many working families find themselves unable to afford college due to their income being too high for substantial government grants but too low to comfortably cover tuition. To address this gap, Liberty University is introducing the Middle America Scholarship, aimed at providing essential financial support to middle-class families.

“For families that are earning typically between $35,000 and $95,000, this program can provide over $6,000 in need based aid for their student every year,” says Matthew Cooper, the Vice President of Student Financial Services.

Program Overview

The Middle America Scholarship targets students with an Expected Family Contribution (EFC) or Student Aid Index (SAI) ranging from 1 to 18,000, as determined by the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Eligible students will receive enough funds through this scholarship to match the full Federal Pell Grant amount when combined with the Liberty Champion scholarship.
