Job for General Construction Supervisor at Ontario

GM Exteriors Ltd. is seeking a dedicated and experienced Residential New Construction Foreman to manage operations and oversee workers on new construction sites, including both single-family and multi-family homes.

Key Responsibilities

• Task Coordination: Organize tasks in line with priorities and plans.
• Material and Equipment Management: Ensure timely coordination of materials and equipment.
• Responsibility Allocation: Assign daily tasks, monitor crew attendance.
• Resource Management: Ensure sufficient manpower and resources.
• Safety and Quality Assurance: Uphold all safety precautions and quality standards.
• Supervision: Oversee the use of machinery and equipment.
• Problem Resolution: Address issues promptly as they arise.
• Progress Reporting: Communicate progress to managers.
• Customer Satisfaction: Ensure high levels of client satisfaction.

Requirements

• Experience: Proven track record as a construction foreman.
• Knowledge: Deep understanding of construction procedures, equipment, and materials, particularly exterior cladding and aluminum.
• Technical Skills: Ability to read drawings, plans, and blueprints.
• Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving abilities and organizational skills.
• Leadership: Excellent leadership and communication skills, with a focus on teamwork.
• Safety Knowledge: Comprehensive knowledge of workplace safety laws and best practices.
• Driver’s License: Valid driver’s license in good standing.

Work Conditions

• Varied Conditions: Work conditions will vary based on the project.
• Travel: Regular travel to job sites to monitor progress.

Job Details

• Type: Full-time, Permanent
• Salary: $70,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
