About the EFC Scholarship Program

The EFC Scholarship program is designed to financially assist post-secondary students who are passionate about forging a career in the Electrical industry.

If you are a student pursuing a career in fields such as Electrical Engineering, Electrical Technology, Industrial Distribution, Sales, Marketing, Finance, Human Resources, Supply Chain/Operations, Logistics, Data Analytics, or Information Technology, this program offers a pathway to a profession dedicated to enhancing safety and environmental sustainability in Canada. Scholarship Opportunities

With over 60 different scholarships available, there are ample opportunities for students to receive support for their academic endeavors. Explore all available scholarships here and take a step towards a promising future. Scholarship recipients will be announced in the Fall of 2024.

Eligibility Requirements

To be eligible for these scholarships, applicants must:

  • Be Canadian citizens or permanent residents.
  • Have completed at least one year of a recognized university or college program in Canada.
  • Maintain at least minimum 75% average.
  • Be enrolled full-time in an eligible post-secondary degree or diploma program for the 2024 academic year.
  • Be attending classes during the Fall 2024/Winter 2025 semesters.

Each applicant can apply for up to three different scholarships. It’s essential to review the specific criteria for each scholarship sponsored by EFC members. Additionally, EFC will award 13 scholarships worth $1,000 each to university and college students selected from the applicant pool.

Preference will be given to applicants who have a connection to an EFC member company (visit EFC Members for more information) and are pursuing post-secondary education in disciplines aimed at careers in the Electrical industry, such as:
