Eligibility Requirements

To qualify for the Academic Excellence Bursary, applicants must meet the following criteria:

• Residency: Must be a resident of the UK and classified as an RUK fee-paying student by the University of Dundee. Your fee status will be confirmed in your Offer Letter, and eligibility for the bursary can only be confirmed after receiving an offer to study.

• Enrollment: Must enroll in your first undergraduate program at the University of Dundee starting in September 2024. This excludes programs in Medicine, Dentistry, and Education & Social Work. For confirmation of the school offering your program, refer to the course page.

• Academic Qualifications: Must have entry qualifications of AAB or higher at A-Level. If you do not have A-Levels but meet other criteria, refer to the university’s grade equivalencies for acceptable alternative qualifications. If your qualification is not listed, it cannot be accepted as an alternative to A-Levels.

Application Process

There is no separate application form for the Academic Excellence Bursary. Eligibility will be assessed automatically as part of your course application. If you qualify, you will be notified via email after receiving an offer to study at the University of Dundee.

Upon enrollment, the Student Funding Team will confirm your award and provide details on how the bursary will be paid. Be sure to monitor your Student Email account for this notification, as it is the primary means of communication.
